Alembic Series 1 > Long scale Bass < 1976 natural
I am selling my original, very early Alembic Series 1 from 1976 in excellent condition. Compared to the later models, the earlier models are characterized by the use of one truss rod without brass cover, old style Schaller machine heads, a "500" serial number, high-contrast headstock veneers and the somewhat narrower bridge. This bass has Birdsyemaple-top and back and the paint is in excellent, almost unplayed condition (no cracks or dull areas). It has an ebony fingerboard with frets that can be played for many years, Abalone Inlays as usual - 34 "fretboard. Weighs in at 11.13 pounds, which is pretty light for a bass of this size. Speaking of size, the reason I sell this bass is right here. I get along better with smaller bodies ! The bass comes in the original Flightcase, I need the cable and power supply for another Alembic from my collection and therefore it cannot be included. The location is Herne NRW - Germany.
