Akai S2800 Sampler OS 2.0 EPROM Firmware Upgrade SET / Brand New Latest Update ROM Chips

• Firmware OS v2.0 is the latest and final operating system issued by Akai for the S2800 series sampler.
• Included will be 2 legitimately brand new ROM chips to complete the upgrade.
• This upgrade will function in both S2800 as well as S2800i revisions.

Note – The S2800 itself is not for sale.Only the ROM upgrade chips will be supplied.

Unlike some others, No used orrefurbished as “new” or “mint” components will be supplied here.

• The OS v2.0 upgrade primarily focuses on resolving issues caused by Akai’s previously poor non-compliant implementation of the SCSI protocol in its system code. This is especially important for users out there that wish to use their S3000 with MESA II as well as Recycle 2.0.

Please note: If you happen to have the“SCSI Waiting” message when you turn on your S2800, it means the SCSI fuse isblown. I have re-settable fuses (fuses that never blow) for sale inanother listing.
