This is a genuine Clavia DSP expansion board produced in very limited quantities for the 1st Generation Nord Modular synthesizer. This unit is marked version 0.2. These are extremely hard to find, and I couldn't even find a trace of a recent sale on the internet at the current time.

These will effectively double the number of voices for your Nord Modular key or rack synth, by adding 4 more DSP engines. It's like turbo charging your Nord Modular, opening a lot more possibilities for multitimbral performances. Now you can play even your most processor-hogging patches with at least 8 voices!

Please note: this does not add more slots, just more processing power for the slots you have. For example, if you have a patch using 23% of the DSP power, then you can get 32 voices (since you have 8 DSPs and each one can accommodate 4 voices). Also note: unfortunately this expansion board cannot be used with the Micro Modular.
This was tested and working in a Nord Modular before being removed for sale. A picture showing the display from the Nord Modular with the message "expanded" is shown for reference, to verify the working condition. This sale is only for the expansion DSP. I do not currently have a Nord Modular for sale.
