I removed this complete harness from an early Buddy Guy American Strat.
It is factory original with no modifications. The Battery clip and input jack wires are still in place. It was a very simple procedure.
This system requires a three terminal input jack. The third terminal is for the yellow wire which is connected to the battery system. It is connected to the battery clip. I marked it with a piece of masking tape so there is no confusion.
You will need room in your guitar control cavity for the 9 volt battery and the circuit board. The only soldering required would be the ground , hot and power wires which all connect to the input jack. You can find the diagram online or have your guitar tech do it for you.
Check the pictures and ask any questions before purchase.
