Condition: only light rub marks and polishing marks here and there, with no notable scratches or dents. Body and key mechanism are both in good condition. Overhauled and adjusted with all new pads (genuine Straubinger pads), felts, and corks.

Founded in 1927, Verne Q. Powell Flutes has long been highly regarded by flutists worldwide. The Conservatory Silver is a sterling silver handmade model carrying on that traditional sound and design philosophy, with sterling silver body and key mechanism, drawn tone holes, the Modern Powell Scale, and a pinless mechanism. More than a step toward a higher model, it has a completeness and appeal of its own.

This unit has the standard configuration of inline ring keys and a C foot. The balance feels natural when held and the response to the breath is light. It offers the freedom of ring keys along with easy handling that makes it comfortable for the long term.
