Rare Providence DELAY 80's DLY-83 – A Truly Special Delay Pedal

Up for sale is the legendary Providence DELAY 80's DLY-83, an exceptionally rare and highly sought-after delay pedal from Japan.

This discontinued model has become increasingly difficult to find and is especially desirable among guitarists who appreciate exceptional tone and unique, hard-to-find gear.

Notably, the DLY-83 is also known for being used by John Mayer, adding to its reputation as a truly special delay pedal.

But what makes this pedal remarkable is not just its rarity or association with famous players — it's the sound.

Designed to capture the magic of classic 1980s digital delays, the DLY-83 delivers beautifully warm, rich, and musical repeats with a wonderful sense of depth and character. Its distinctive combination of vintage digital delay technology and analog signal processing creates an organic, lush sound that is difficult to replicate with modern pedals.

Whether you're looking for subtle ambience or beautifully textured echoes, this pedal offers an inspiring sonic experience.

Condition: Player's Grade

This pedal shows significant signs of use, including paint chips, scratches, and considerable cosmetic wear. It is definitely a player's-grade example rather than a collector-grade piece.

Please examine the photos carefully to assess its cosmetic condition.

Included: Pedal only. No original box, manual, or power supply.

These pedals rarely come up for sale, and finding another one is becoming increasingly difficult.

If you've been searching for a DLY-83, this is a great opportunity to own one of Providence's most distinctive and sought-after delay pedals.

A rare pedal with an extraordinary sound — and a wonderful addition to any serious guitarist's collection.
