GR Bass Groovy is a tube-based bass preamplifier in a pedal format, specifically designed to deliver all the musicality, warmth, and dynamics of an all-tube circuit within a compact solution that integrates easily into any setup. Tailored to meet the needs of the most demanding bassists, it offers a wide tonal palette—ranging from clean, transparent sounds to harmonically rich saturation—while maintaining an exceptionally natural touch response. A four-band equalizer with selectable mid-range frequencies, combined with V, Deep, and Bright filters, allows for precise sound shaping to suit any musical context. The Drive and Distortion sections are completely independent, enabling a transition from vintage-style tube saturation to more aggressive, contemporary distortion, providing maximum flexibility during performances. Two balanced XLR outputs serve as another key feature: a "PRE" DI, which sends the raw tube signal, and a "POST" DI, which transmits the fully processed sound—both ideal for live applications and professional recording. With a dedicated DI volume control, a compact footprint, and the superior build quality synonymous with GR Bass, the Groovy is the perfect preamplifier to anchor any pedalboard, delivering professional-grade sound, great versatility, and the distinct character of tubes in any scenario.
