Now available on consignment, a 1976 Fender Champ Amplifier.
This is a sweet little baby of an amp, with a few mods to make it accessible, namely a replaced speaker, a couple of replaced caps, converted to 240v, and some replaced tubes. This amp features the standard 70’s Champ layout of the 5Y3, 6V6, and one 12AX7.
Having obviously seen a little bit of usage over its years, there is still not too much cosmetic damage to the exterior of the amp, only a few scuffs and tears, as well as some slight fraying at the corners of the grille cloth. Slightly oddly enough, the tube chart on the inside of the cab belongs to a Vibro Champ, instead of a normal Champ.
All up, this is a very serviceable amp, a great starter amp, bedroom amp, test bed amp, or studio secret weapon. Ready to play out the box.
