Produced during the height of the Japanese guitar boom, this instrument was built in the Kawai factory and originally distributed under badges like Prestige, Kimberly, or Teisco. This model features the highly iconic "hook" 6-in-a-line headstock and a deeply vibrant sunburst finish over a fully hollow maple body. The back of the body features a stunning, tight laminate flame that looks absolutely killer under lights. Under the hood, it retains its original chrome-ring single-coil pickups and factory electronics plate—complete with the original fluted "V" and "T" knobs and 3-way toggle. These pickups have that classic, low-output microphonic chime and woody bite that modern indie, lo-fi, and slide players actively hunt down.

• Neck & Playability: The neck profile is chunky and straight. The rosewood fingerboard is healthy, and the original small frets still have life left in them for a vintage player.
