1974 Greco RW-700 Ron Wood special order artist model in sunburst.

Designed by Fumiki Nara—similar to the Mick Ralphs model—when Ron Wood was brought into Greco by Tetsu Yamauchi during their time in Faces (prior to Wood officially joining The Rolling Stones).

Unique tulip design and tailpiece allowing behind the bridge playing. Neck profile is very similar to a Melody Maker, and seated playing position nearly identical to an SG.

Features “The Greco” logo, used on artist and custom order instruments for a short period.

Produced for approximately one year, from 1974–1975.

100% fully functional. No breaks or repairs.

Condition
Cosmetically the 52+ year old instrument is in good shape, with various dings, chips, scratches and finish wear commensurate with age. Additional pickguard screws drilled. Gold hardware has expected patina. Minor binding cracks as expected with a Greco of this vintage.

Professionally refretted by Portland Fretworks; new frets have zero wear. Back of neck has various dings, which are not terribly distracting while playing.
