Getzen Eterna 895 Flugelhorn--Serviced, Leather Bag, Nice!

One of several professional flugelhorns we are offering for sale.  This is a Getzen Eterna Model 895 Bb in lacquer. It is in excellent condition: lacquer about 99.5% with a tiny little spot of wear hidden high up under the valves, and just very light scratches and imperfections from very careful use.  No significant dents, dings, or signs of repair or dent removal.  Valves do have some wear but are smooth, fast and quiet with no problems. Note that this is oiled with SYNTHETIC oil and you should use the same or thoroughly clean the pistons and casings prior to switching to a petroleum-based oil. All tuning slide are free, as is the leadpipe. Amado water keys working find. Just through the shop in September, 2026 where it was disassembled, chem cleaned, lubed, polished and had new Tru-Seal synthetic piston felts installed.  This horn plays very well with a smooth, silky tone and good slotting which is just loose enough to let you bend notes around all those slick jazz solos. Valve oil and tuning slide grease are for local pickup only and will not be shipped, but it does include a new ProTec microfiber cloth and the great, Brasswind leather gig bag with zippered external pocket and shoulder strap. Sold for $2,745 when you could find one, which you pretty much can’t these days. A great horn suitable for orchestra or jazz, and at more than a thousand dollars less than new!
