For sale is an Electro-Voice 676, that has been cleaned and serviced with new foam inside the grille. Functionally wise, it is working properly and sounds fantastic which is certainly not always the case.

The cleaning did not simply include a wipe down of the body, each portion inside the grille was cleaned along with the capsule. After 50+ years of service, metal shavings and debris commonly find their way inside affecting the sound. To avoid that, this 676 was serviced to have the debris removed which ensures nothing will impede the performance.

If you end up buying this microphone, you are not only getting one that works well but also one that has been carefully refurbished. So the chances of running into issues in the future is greatly diminished, just treat it with some care. The only caveats with this microphone is a fair share of wear and tear to the body and grille as shown. Clearly it saw a lot of use but it works great, so we can call it battle tested.
