- Rebranded version of the 545 that requires a tad bit more gain, possibly transformerless due to that and it is low impedance
- Sounds like it should - Excellent sound profile with a nice warm bass response
- New foam inside the grille and this older model features a mesh covering above the capsule that has kept it well protected all its life
- New 3 Pin Amphenol to XLR Adapter Cable Included - Short Cable
This is a great example of the Shure 545 although it bares a different model number, the mic that came before the famous SM57. It’s known for its nice low end, and slightly brighter top compared to the 57 — great for vocals, guitar amps, snare, and more. This microphone has light wear to the body and works exactly as it should it with a nice sound.
This older model also has a mesh cover that protects the capsule incase the foam goes bad. Additionally this microphone has new foam inside the grille so it is clean and ready for a new owner. It also ships with the original 3 pin amphenol connector, so an adapter cable is included so you can easily connect it to your interface.
If you want a vintage 545 that sounds great and comes with a newly cabled adapter cable, look no further!
