Wildly unique FX unit, from warm subtle chorus and flanging to extreme self-oscillating sound capabilities. This is for the heads, for those who want experimenting and finding one of kind sounds. Custom made for Drop of Sun Studios and used on a couple of records this year and it’s still like-new. No other LED colorway like this exists. This comes from a small company and theres no box, just a power cable.

Features:

Quadrature Chorus

Four BBD-based audio paths create lush sounding chorus, vibrato and flange effects. Each BBD path has its own dedicated output, allowing for quadraphonic, surround-style chorusing. Stereo summing outputs are also included.

Dual Stereo Filter

Four multimode diode filters run in parallel, providing filtering for the four BBD audio paths. There's a bandpass mode, and a multimode, which is sweepable from lowpass, through notch, to highpass.

True Analog

The real thing. The entire audio path is true analog from the inputs to the outputs. Even the modulators are all-analog.

5-Waveform LFO

Five conventional LFO waveforms are available as additional BBD clock modulation. Rate ranges from 0.1Hz to 40Hz. 

Quadrature LFO

The Quadrature LFO produces four sine waves, each 90 degrees out of phase with the next. It can be used to modulate the four BBD clocks, producing swirling four-channel chorusing.

Texture Generator

This modulator can produce signals similar to a Sample & Hold, but with the addition of an adjustable slew limiter and a "chaos" clock-time randomizer. Add anything from subtle nuances to extreme glitches to your sound.

Joystick

A high quality, dual-axis joystick can be assigned to a number of destinations, allowing for even more expressive control.

Soft-touch, illuminated fader caps round out the experience.

Modular Compatible

Eurorack-compatible 1/8" (3.5mm) TS audio and CV inputs and outputs are included. 

Heavy duty 1/4" (6.35mm) TRS audio inputs and outputs are also included, supporting balanced and unbalanced audio.

Unique Sonic Palette

We've spent hundreds of hours auditioning the subtle differences in tones produced from various component chemistries at specific locations in the circuit topologies, to arrive at a the sound we call Retrogradus.
