For sale is the excellent Brauner Phantom Anniversary Edition with serial #949 of a limited 1000 piece release back in the late 2000’s.
This microphone I chose over the Neumann U87 back then, because it has a very similar frequency response, yet the Brauner provides more depth and articulation.
Since its sound has a fairly bright signature, it pairs extremely well with a darker tube preamp like the UA 610, which I have also listed.
I used this mic only a couple of times a year for the last decade, for the rest it serves purely as a decorative item around here. Before that it was used more extensively.
Early 2024 I’ve had the capsule and the exterior professionally cleaned and the suspension of the shockmount replaced. So it sits firm and straight.
Comes in a sturdy case, a 5 meter VOVOX link direct S cable, and a signed card of authenticity by Dirk Brauner.
