Black Lion Audio, based in Chicago, started out as a small-time mod shop, modifying Digidesign and other audio interfaces for superior sound quality. It wasn't long before BLA turned to manufacturing their own line of gear, from the popular Micro Clock to a range of half-rack and desktop mic preamps and converters.
