G&L M2500 with 3 MFD Pickups & K Wiring

G&L “M3500” (3 Pickups & K Wiring) – Mint -  $560

G&L M2500 Tribute with a third pickup added.  I don’t know if the switches are technically K wiring but here’s what the two 3 position mini toggles do:

• One is a three way switch between the middle and far neck pickup (blend control balances between bridge and middle/neck pair)

• The other switches between humbucking, single coil and OMG mode for all three pickups (bridge will fully hum cancel with middle or far neck in single coil mode)

These go for $800 new and the extra pickup costs $130 from G&L, so $930 new not including routing or installation.  I’m asking $560.

It’s a fantastic bass, but I do better with 4 string basses and just don’t play the 5 enough to keep it.

Note - The custom back plates mean something to me but probably not to most buyers.  Bass will ship with the original black cavity covers but the customs will be included.  For a muscle car guy like me the body color and the 3 dual coil pickups reminded me of the Mopar Six Pack cars from the late 60’s (orange was a popular color and the “six pack” was 3 two barrel carbs.
