HotRods Guitar Shop
EDIT: I had someone ask me what I would think would be an "obvious answer" type of question.
but If people think things like this... then it requires an answer.
The question: How come all your guitars are described as near mint or extremely clean condition. I don't trust it.
the Answer. in 2 parts
First, I've been a Luthier for 46 years. ( some even call me a Master Luthier)
2nd. Because I have those skills. I can tell a nice instrument from a crap one in just a few seconds.
and in order to maintain the integrity of our little shop here.. I simply won't buy stuff that I myself wouldn't play. Because, If I don't want it... then neither would anyone else.
We build guitars here,
from Scratch... or we remanufacture from interesting or cool "found" parts.. this shop knows what a great instrument should sound, play and feel like. and frankly, if your gonna be a serious Luthier in Tennessee.. Home of Gibson, AND Nashville (country music), Memphis ( Rock'n roll & Blues) and Knoxville (deadly serious Bluegrass) as well as several very prestigious Guitars Companies... then you had better bring your A game.
and so.. We try very hard to do just that.
I also Pay a fair bit more for higher quality guitars than just the run of the mill pawn shop fodder. and I expect people to respond to our commitment in kind.
We at HotRods Guitar Shop do our utmost to find and procure the best Instruments and price them where the market shows it should be according to its tone, playability and condition. and we don't discriminate to only the high end price ranges. we look for excellent guitars in every price range.
Thank you for your patronage..

P.S. At the risk of blowing my own horn, some folks don't seems to be familiar with what my skill set is like..
so, please go to the link below and see my hand crafted work.
That Guitar did actually sell for the number shown. and Please don't ask me to make one of those.
the designer, John Backlund, has currently licensed those designs out to Eastwood guitars. you may purchase them from Eastwood.
