This is a unique piece made by the master luthier and artist Berti Giscomo of GB Liuteria, its value goes beyond the guitar, it is in all respects a collector's item but do not hesitate to play it, it is an instrument with superior tonal and technological quality.

Bass Sensus 5 string

Body:

Body made of okoumé, with a poplar burl top featuring a DIY finish transitioning from green to pink with titanium metal flakes embedded in the burl gaps. The back of the body is made of flamed maple with a DIY green finish. The body has a matte finish. The Sensus body includes our multi-pickup system with covered pickups. The covers act as guides and provide thumb support in all playing positions.

Neck:

5-string neck made of a 9-layer laminate combining maple, purpleheart, and wenge, with a low asymmetrical profile. The neck includes a dual-action truss rod with adjustment access in the neck pickup cavity. The joint area with the body features an ultra-profile system where the neck's contour continues seamlessly into the body. The neck is treated with Teflon for maximum smoothness. Zero fret nut by GB Liuteria with a wenge spacer insert. Headless bass design.

Fretboard:

Fretboard made of walnut and ziricote, with tribal inlays across the entire surface. It has a 20-inch radius, side dots in mother-of-pearl, 2.4 mm steel frets, a 34-inch scale length, and 24 frets.

Headpiece:

Headpiece laminated with a poplar burl top matching the body’s color scheme, featuring a carved GB Liuteria logo.

Electronics:

High-quality CTS potentiometers, wiring made with OFC copper and silver cables coated in Teflon and silicone, shielded cables used where necessary (also OFC copper and silver). The circuit features a star grounding system without a shielding cavity (to avoid a boxed sound and ground loops). Includes a blend selector and an oil-paper capacitor. Knobs are handmade by GB Liuteria from cherry wood.

Bridge:

Individual saddle bridge by T4M in gold finish.

Pickups:

This instrument comes with two pickup kits.

The first kit is Precision-style, featuring a classic bridge pickup and a single-coil neck pickup with Alnico 2 magnets, delivering a warm and harmonious vintage-style tone.

The second kit includes two humbuckers with Alnico 5 magnets, offering a defined, powerful, and modern sound.
