Peavey Classic 30 BT – 30-Watt All-Tube 1x12" Combo in Black Tweed

Here’s a solid example of the Peavey Classic 30 BT (black vinyl/tweed covering with black grille). These are the same reliable workhorse amps that blues, country, rock, and roots players have relied on for decades—just in the less common black finish.

All-tube design with:

• 3 × 12AX7 preamp tubes

• 4 × EL84 power tubes

• 30 watts RMS into 8 or 16 ohms

• 1 × 12" Blue Marvel speaker

• Two channels – Normal (Volume) and Lead (Pre/Post Gain + Boost)

• Shared 3-band passive EQ (Bass, Middle, Treble)

• Genuine spring reverb

• Effects loop

• External speaker jack

• Chrome control panel

• Footswitchable channel switching, boost, and reverb

This amp is in **good overall condition**. It works as it should with strong cleans, natural tube breakup, and the classic Peavey Classic spring reverb. Cosmetically it shows normal wear for a used amp: some scuffs/edge wear on the covering, light marks on the chrome panel, and typical player wear. Nothing structural or that affects playability. Tubes are present and the amp powers up cleanly with no unusual noise or issues.

• Serial: 10693300

• Speaker currently installed: Peavey Blue Marvel

• Footswitch included? No

• Local pickup only

Perfect for small-to-medium gigs, studio work, or home practice. These punch well above their weight and take pedals great. A higher-headroom alternative to many 15–20W boutique combos at a fraction of the price.
