I am selling this marvelous piece of equipment with regret but I stopped recording and I’d rather know it will be put to work regularly by someone else.
This is the Soyuz 23 bomblet - Black Brass, a very limited edition which was produced for a limited time under 100 units.
It is massive, the sound coming out of this microphone is out of this world when paired with a proper pre amp.
It has a vintage character, a charm that very few new microphones can offer.
Out of all the microphones I tried, this was by far my most beloved sound.
I bought it last year straight from the Soyuz factory in Tula, Russia, it is brand new.
