Taylor T3-B-LTD Limited Edition Solid Mahogany 2010 - Cherry

2010 Taylor T3/B Limited. Only 62 of this limited edition were made, built using solid mahogany (with ebony fretboard). Standard T3s are built with sapele and have a maple top. I've owned both the standard model and this limited model and the limited model has a much warmer and more lively acoustic voice. You can see from the photos that this one has some play wear, surface pick scratches from being played and very minor dings, but the frets show hardly any wear at all and over all the guitar looks and plays great. Both pots are push/pull. The volume switches the pickups to single coil and the tone switches to a mid boost. Guitar weighs 7lbs 4oz. The original hard case is gorgeous and looks new. Taylor T3s are truly exceptional guitars. In the video, Chris McKee says he considers the T3/B his favorite guitar in Taylor's entire lineup. T3s are no longer being made and the LTDs are quite rare.
