This is a Fender Japan TL52-40TH, a limited-edition 40th Anniversary Telecaster model manufactured in 1992 by the Custom Edition Team.

The Custom Edition Team was the successor to, and further development of, the craft section responsible for the EXTRAD series.

Very little information about this model remains today, which suggests that it was produced in very limited numbers. There is no doubt that it features a number of special specifications, including an ash body, birdseye maple neck, USA-made pickups, lacquer finish, and a dedicated 40th Anniversary neck plate.

The neck has a V-shaped profile. Although the figuring is not extremely dramatic, both flame and birdseye patterns can be seen in the maple.

This is a rare and distinctive model that seldom appears on the market. It is highly recommended for collectors and players looking for something unusual and special.

The guitar weighs approximately 4.0 kg.

Although it is more than 30 years old, there are no major noticeable scratches, and it remains in generally clean condition. The frets show some wear, but there are no significant dents or grooves.

As expected with a lacquer finish, weather checking is present on the headstock and the back of the neck. Part of the pickguard has lifted slightly due to age-related deterioration. Please secure it with double-sided tape or a similar method after delivery.

There are also some minor scratches and scuffs consistent with age. However, the guitar has been professionally cleaned, inspected, and fully adjusted by a repair technician.
