The all-new Bad Cat Cub V EL84 Combo brings one of the company's most iconic circuits into a new era, combining vintage-inspired character with modern versatility and uncompromising craftsmanship.

Hand-wired and point-to-point soldered in Costa Mesa, California, the Cub V delivers the rich harmonic complexity, touch sensitivity, and unmistakable chime that have made Bad Cat amplifiers favorites among discerning players for decades.

At the heart of the Cub V is a unique switchable EF86 and 12AX7 preamp design, allowing players to move effortlessly between bold, harmonically rich British-style drive and articulate, chime-filled cleans. Dual footswitchable master volumes make it easy to jump between rhythm and lead settings, while the tube-driven spring reverb and buffered effects loop provide exceptional flexibility for both stage and studio applications. The result is an amp that feels equally at home delivering edge-of-breakup cleans, classic rock crunch, or soaring lead tones.

Loaded with a UK-made 12" Celestion Custom Bad Cat speaker and housed in a voidless Baltic birch cabinet, the Cub V EL84 Combo offers remarkable projection and responsiveness in a compact package. Finished with Bad Cat's signature premium appointments, including leather corners and the return of the iconic glowing Bad Cat eyes, this amplifier is a modern boutique masterpiece built to inspire for years to come.
