The Santa Cruz H13 is a guitar that refuses to fit neatly into a single category, blending the intimate feel of a smaller-bodied acoustic with the powerful voice of a jumbo. Its unique 13-fret design brings the bridge into a sweeter spot on the soundboard, creating a rich, open response that’s full of warmth, depth, and surprising projection. Whether you’re a fingerstyle player searching for nuance or a flatpicker looking for bold, dynamic rhythm, the H13 delivers an inspiring playing experience that’s unlike anything else in the Santa Cruz lineup.

Built with a responsive Bearclaw German spruce top and African Blackwood back and sides, the H13 produces a beautifully balanced voice with punchy fundamentals, warm mids, and a full, supportive low end that never overwhelms the guitar’s remarkable clarity. Every detail reflects Santa Cruz Guitar Company’s renowned craftsmanship, from the scalloped and tapered bracing to the comfortable V-shaped neck and elegant slotted headstock. Tasteful appointments like ivoroid binding, ebony headstock overlay, Waverly tuners, and a hand-applied sunburst finish give the instrument a timeless, understated elegance that complements its extraordinary tone.

The H13 is the kind of guitar that invites you to slow down, listen closely, and discover something new every time you play it. Responsive, expressive, and incredibly versatile, it offers the best qualities of both small and large-bodied acoustics in one beautifully crafted instrument. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
