This is a Fender 10-watt practice combo amp with the classic black-panel look from Fender's mid-60s era. It's a genuine Fender at an entry-level price point, with solid tone for the size.

It's got an adjustable gain control that goes from mild tube-style overdrive up to heavier saturated distortion, so it covers blues and rock tones as well as heavier stuff. The 6" speaker is a closed-back design, which gives it a bit more low-end punch than you'd expect from an amp this compact — it's about 10 lbs, easy to move around.

For practicing, it's got a 1/8" aux input so you can play along with music from a phone or media player, and a 1/8" headphone jack for quiet practice. Controls are straightforward — gain, volume, treble, bass, and an overdrive on/off switch — simple enough for a beginner, but still useful if you know what you're doing.
