From Guild: Guild jumbo acoustic guitars have been renowned for their robust sound for more than 50 years. Their large size and rounded bodies create a spacious internal chamber that produces a powerful bass response, making them especially popular with country, rock, and other guitarists that play with a moderate to heavy attack. The F-40 Standard Pacific Sunset Burst combines that large body shape with carefully selected tonewoods and forward-shifted scalloped Adirondack spruce top bracing to deliver a well-balanced tone with exceptional depth and projection. The ultra-thin Pacific Sunset Burst Vintage Gloss nitro lacquer finish has both satin and gloss qualities that highlight the natural beauty of the tonewoods and give the instrument a worn-in vintage look and feel.
