Fender Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Dave Murray Stratocaster Black
Serial Number: MX26014169
Weight: 7.96 lbs

The Fender Limited Edition 50th Anniversary Dave Murray Stratocaster in Black celebrates five decades of Iron Maiden with a hot-rodded take on the Strat that has anchored the band's legendary triple-guitar attack since the beginning. Built to honor the group's 50th anniversary — a run that's seen over 100 million records sold across 17 studio albums since forming in East London in 1975 — this limited-edition signature model distills Dave Murray's favorite features from his most trusted Fenders into one stage-ready metal machine. The gloss black polyester finish over an alder body with a 1-ply white pickguard nails Murray's iconic look at a manageable 7.96 lbs., and as a Limited Edition anniversary release, it won't be in the lineup forever.

The maple neck carries a comfortable "C" profile in gloss urethane, paired with a rosewood fretboard, white dot inlays, 21 medium jumbo frets, and a 25.5" scale length. The player-friendly 9.5"–14" compound radius flattens out as you move up the neck — easy chording near the nut, choke-free bends up high — exactly the kind of spec that makes Murray's fluid legato runs and harmonized leads feel effortless. A Floyd Rose FRT-O1000 double-locking 2-point tremolo with matching R2 locking nut (1.625" width) keeps everything dead in tune through the deepest dives, backed by vintage-style tuners and chrome hardware.

The HSH pickup array is pure Murray: a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N humbucker in the neck for smooth, vocal lead tones, an Antiquity Texas Hot single-coil in the middle for glassy in-between sparkle, and the legendary Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 in the bridge for the saturated crunch and screaming harmonics that drive Maiden's galloping rhythm work. A volume, dual tone controls, and 5-way blade selector cover everything from clean intros to full NWOBHM fury. Whether you're an Iron Maiden devotee, a hard rock and metal player chasing a Floyd-equipped Strat, or a collector of limited-edition signature guitars, this 50th Anniversary Dave Murray Stratocaster (Serial #MX26014169) includes a Fender gig bag.
