2014 Gibson Custom Shop R9 in very good condition. Very lightweight. Neck is on the smaller side with a slight V- very unusual for this timeframe. The finish is a Bourbon Burst- the flame is tight- similar to the famous "Dutch Burst" but with a little more wiggle to it. There is a comment below about the guitar being "a Rumble Seat Exclusive"- I called Rumble Seat and they had no knowledge of this and the folks at Gibson were a bit odd and wouldn't confirm or deny it. I have a copy of that email. I had these photos from the original listing- i will gladly send better ones upon request.

Usual wear- but no scratches or substantial dents. A tiny imperfection in the finish on the back of the neck can be felt but not photographed up at the 17th fret.

I bought this from CME. In the case pocket is a print of Clapton playing his Beano burst- given the black and double white pickups it appears the original owner was trying to duplicate this. The PUP's themselves are Seymour Duncan Joe Bonamassa 1959 special editions. Very cool and really nail PAF's- going from the middle with both at 7-8 and backing off the neck is tremendously authentic sounding. The bridge is snarky- I would call this a biter as opposed to a moaner. It does sound like Beano- and early (LZII) Page given the right amp.

The PUP rings are Wizz i am told- there are distinguishing marks on them. The pick guard may be a replacement as well- the look is right there for the 1959 mismatched plastic.

Frets are in great shape- a tiny bit of worming on the back- nothing thru the wood.

So- yes i will ship it- yes you can come pick it up or I will meet you within 100 miles of Cape Cod. Feel free to ask any questions.
