The WA-84 is a cardioid, vintage-style, small diaphragm condenser microphone based on classic microphone circuit topology. The WA-84 sports a fully discrete signal path, a CineMag USA transformer, Fairchild transistors, and Wima capacitors. The WA-84 is designed for pro studio, home studio, live, and broadcast applications, and sounds great on a variety of instruments and sources, such as; acoustic/electric guitars, acoustic/electric bass, drums, piano, strings, brass and woodwind instruments, and an array of other sources.

Large-Core Cinemag USA Transformer
Small diaphragm condenser microphones have widely moved to transformer-less technology in recent years for ease and lower-cost manufacturing. When designing the WA-84, however, Warm chose to go the extra mile by using a large-core transformer. The WA-84 has a very large sound for its small size due to the heavy Nickel CineMag transformer in its signal path, which warms up and enlarges sound sources. The transformer is so big it barely fits inside the mic body!

Premium Components
In addition to the CineMag USA transformer, the WA-84 also sports a fully discrete signal path using premium Fairchild transistors and Wima capacitors throughout.

All the Accessories you Need
Most manufacturers give you a couple accessories with their small-diaphragm mics, usually a clip, and maybe a pouch. Not Warm Audio! In addition to the mic, you also get a durable carry case, a quality shock mount, traditional clip, and a windscreen!

Features:

Vintage-style small diaphragm condenser mic

Heavy nickel Cinemag USA transformer

Premium Fairchild transistors

Only small diaphragm condenser on the market with a large-core transformer

Includes shockmount, microphone clip, windscreen, and carrying case

Get your Warm Audio WA-84 Vintage Condenser Microphone (Nickel) today at the guaranteed lowest price from Sam Ash with our 45-day return and 60-day price protection policy.
