Full-Scale Sound in a Road-Ready Design

The Martin D Jr E StreetMaster is designed as a full‑scale companion built to follow wherever the music takes you. Part of Martin’s Junior Series, this compact dreadnought blends traditional Martin tone with a comfortable, travel‑friendly size. Despite its smaller body, the D Jr E StreetMaster delivers the bold projection and resonance expected from a dreadnought, making it equally at home on the couch, in the studio, or on the stage.

Finished in Martin’s StreetMaster distressed satin finish, this guitar has the appearance of a well‑loved instrument that has already seen years of music, while remaining structurally sound and performance‑ready from day one.

Solid Sapele Construction and Balanced Tone

The D Jr E StreetMaster features a solid sapele top, back, and sides. Known for its warm midrange and clear articulation, sapele offers a tonal character similar to mahogany with a slightly brighter response. This all‑sapele construction produces a focused, punchy sound that works well for both strumming and fingerstyle playing.

Inside, scalloped spruce X‑bracing enhances projection and clarity while supporting the guitar’s compact body. The satin finish allows the wood to resonate freely, contributing to an open, responsive sound with excellent dynamic range for a guitar of its size.

Comfortable Neck and Player-Focused Feel

Playability is a central focus of the D Jr E StreetMaster. The select hardwood neck features a Performing Artist profile combined with a High‑Performance taper, creating a smooth and natural feel across the fretboard. A full 24.9‑inch scale length preserves familiar string tension, while the gently beveled fingerboard edge adds comfort for extended playing sessions.

Whether navigating open chords or melodic lead lines, the D Jr E StreetMaster responds easily to a variety of techniques. Its compact proportions and thoughtful ergonomics make it an inviting instrument for players of all experience levels.

Ready for Stage, Studio, and Travel

Equipped with Martin E1 electronics, the D Jr E StreetMaster is ready to plug in when needed. The onboard system includes a built‑in tuner and intuitive volume, tone, and phase controls, allowing quick adjustments without external equipment. This makes the guitar equally effective for amplified performance, recording, or rehearsal.

The included Martin softshell case provides protection and portability, reinforcing the Junior Series concept of a go‑anywhere instrument. With its vintage‑inspired look, solid construction, and reliable electronics, the D Jr E StreetMaster is a versatile acoustic electric guitar built for modern players on the move
