Fender The Bends Compressor V2 Pedal - Black

The Bends Compressor V2 pedal from Fender combines smooth, natural compression with an independent clean boost in a highly flexible, performance-ready design. Built for both guitar and bass, the Bends V2 uses a unique take on OTA compression technology to deliver responsive dynamic control without sacrificing feel or clarity. From subtle leveling and sustain enhancement to punchy modern compression and vintage-style coloration, this pedal offers deep tonal flexibility while remaining intuitive and easy to dial in.

Natural Compression With Detailed Control

The Bends V2 is designed to react smoothly to your playing dynamics, balancing loud and soft passages while adding sustain and thickness to notes. Its streamlined control layout includes an Input control for setting compression sensitivity, a Release knob for fine-tuning response and a three-position Attack switch that adjusts how quickly the compression engages. This allows players to shape everything from fast, punchy attack to smoother, more relaxed compression behavior depending on the instrument and playing style.

Blend, Tone and Vintage Compression Modes

An active Tone control with center detent allows precise treble adjustment to restore sparkle or tame brightness after compression, while the Blend control mixes clean signal back into the compressed tone for enhanced clarity and natural dynamics. A rear-mounted Vintage switch changes the character of the compression circuit, transforming it from a modern, transparent response into a warmer, smoother style with subtle natural saturation and vintage-inspired coloration.

Independent Boost and Flexible Signal Routing

In addition to its compression section, the Bends V2 includes an independent ultra-clean boost circuit that can be positioned either before or after the compressor using the Comp Pre/Post switch. Placing the boost before compression creates enhanced sustain and increased compression response, while positioning it after compression allows the pedal to function as a clean solo boost for increased output. Additional professional features include switchable true and buffered bypass modes, multiswitch-compatible momentary and latching footswitch operation and a rugged aluminum enclosure finished in aqua. Designed for versatility and musical responsiveness, the Fender Bends V2 pedal delivers refined dynamic control for everything from subtle leveling and sustain enhancement to modern compression and flexible signal shaping.
