The Pawnshop Tremolo is a special version with 10x the gain for a “small tube amp find” vibe.
The Parabola is Caroline Guitar Company's solid state tremolo pedal, inspired by the vintage Schaller TR-68/TR-316 tremolo units from West Germany. It uses a transistor-generated waveform and a preamplifier stage shared with the Kilobyte and Meteore pedals.
Two modes give you distinct tremolo characters: AM mode delivers classic amplitude modulation, while FM mode produces a frequency-dependent filtered effect based on the depth control. The Havoc switch inverts the speed range and opens up the depth control for more extreme results.
- Solid state, transistor-generated waveform tremolo
- AM mode: classic amplitude modulation
- FM mode: frequency-dependent filtered tremolo
- Up to 12dB of clean gain
- Havoc switch: inverts speed range, opens depth
- Inspired by vintage Schaller TR-68/TR-316
