This instrument is in good condition, especially considering its age. It has only been owned by one player, and shows signs of its age and some consistent areas of play wear in the bass side of the neck, bass side of the body where the arm rests, and in the fingerboard.  The pickguard has also warped due to age and shows some significant wear at the top. The overall finish of the guitar appears to have been well taken care of, showing a reasonable amount of checking for its age and some natural yellowing of the binding. The tailpiece has also been replaced for a Gretsch trapeze tailpiece. Included is the original Gibson chipboard case.
