The Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty 8 Premium Select in Ka'anapali Dream stands at the forefront of extended-range guitar design, delivering unparalleled performance, breathtaking aesthetics, and innovative engineering for today's most demanding players. Developed in collaboration with John Petrucci, this exceptional 8-string instrument is meticulously crafted to provide ultimate precision, tonal versatility, and effortless playability across an expanded sonic range.

Built around a neck-through-body construction featuring a Honduran Mahogany center section, Alder body wings, and a thick Maple top, the Majesty 8 offers extraordinary sustain, resonance, and tonal balance. The combination of premium tonewoods produces a rich, articulate voice with exceptional clarity from the lowest registers to the highest notes. Finished in the striking Ka'anapali Dream high-gloss polyester finish, the instrument commands attention with its sophisticated and modern appearance.

Designed specifically for advanced performance, the Majesty 8 features a multi-scale configuration with a 25.5-inch treble scale and 27-inch bass scale. This innovative design enhances string tension, improves intonation, and delivers exceptional note definition across all eight strings. The Honduran Mahogany neck seamlessly transitions through the body, while the ebony fingerboard, adorned with elegant Atlante Majesty inlays, provides a fast and responsive playing surface. Twenty-four stainless steel medium jumbo frets and a comfortable 17-inch radius ensure effortless navigation across the entire fretboard.

At the core of its sonic capabilities are custom slanted DiMarzio Rainmaker and Dreamcatcher humbuckers, specifically engineered to maximize clarity, articulation, and dynamic response in an extended-range format. From pristine cleans and soaring lead tones to aggressive, high-gain rhythm textures, the Majesty 8 delivers exceptional definition and power in every musical setting.

Further expanding its tonal versatility, the Music Man Custom Piezo Hardtail Bridge incorporates Fishman Powerbridge piezo saddles, allowing players to blend authentic acoustic-style sounds with magnetic pickup tones. Combined with the advanced Music Man active preamp, onboard gain boost, custom pickup configurations, and dedicated piezo switching system, the Majesty 8 offers an expansive range of sounds suited for both studio and stage environments.

Premium appointments include Schaller M6-IND locking tuning machines for superior tuning stability, advanced cavity shielding for silent operation, an easily accessible adjustable truss rod, and Music Man's renowned precision craftsmanship throughout every detail of the instrument.

Remarkably lightweight at just 7 lbs. 7 oz., the Majesty 8 maintains exceptional comfort and balance despite its extended-range design, making it an ideal choice for extended performances, recording sessions, and technical playing styles.
