The Ibanez AZES40 is designed to make the journey of learning guitar as enjoyable as possible, but don’t mistake it for a beginner-only instrument. Built with the same player-focused philosophy that defines the larger AZ family, the AZES delivers a comfortable feel, versatile sound, and dependable performance that can grow alongside players for years. Its slightly shorter 25” scale length creates a more approachable playing experience, making chords easier to fret and stretches more comfortable without sacrificing the familiar feel of a full-sized electric guitar.

The AZES40 offers impressive flexibility that encourages exploration across virtually any style of music. The SSH pickup configuration provides everything from bright, sparkling cleans and glassy rhythm tones to thicker, more powerful sounds for rock and heavier genres. The innovative dyna-MIX9 switching system dramatically expands the guitar’s sonic range, giving players access to a variety of pickup combinations that inspire creativity and experimentation. Whether you’re learning your first chords, exploring blues and classic rock, or diving into modern styles, the AZES40 has a voice ready for the occasion.

What truly makes the AZES40 stand out is how comfortable and inviting it feels in your hands. The smooth maple neck, balanced body design, and thoughtfully contoured neck joint make movement around the fingerboard feel effortless, while the tremolo bridge offers expressive vibrato without compromising playability. Every detail is aimed at making practice sessions more enjoyable and performances more confident. Reliable, versatile, and remarkably easy to play, the Ibanez AZES is the kind of guitar that can inspire players from their very first notes all the way through years of musical growth. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
