1966 Slingerland Shell Pack

1960’s Slingerland shell pack. I don’t know too much about these drums, but here’s the info I have;

- One owner. I purchased these about 5 years ago from an elderly man that claimed they belonged to his dad.

- The kick and one of the rack toms share the same 1960’s badge.

- The other rack tom and the floor tom do not have badges, but they have the same finish and hardware as the rest. The floor tom is stamped “JAN 1966“ on the inside of the shell.

-The matching bongos have the 1970-80’s Slingerland badge, so I assume those were ordered later on.

- I’d say 99% of the original hardware is here. Some random nuts or bolts have been replaced, but only a few.

- No snare. Will come with original hi hat stand, original throne, bongo stand, vintage Tama Speed King pedal (no beater), and bag of extra hardware including modern kick drum anchor and original hardware to mount the other rack tom.

- The finish has a good amount of cracking. Personally, I think it looks cool and tells a story. They certainly show their age.
