Made in 2020 as part of Fender Japan’s Traditional series, this model recreates the vintage-inspired feel and appearance of a 1960s Jazz Bass while maintaining the stability and practicality modern players expect.

The Fiesta Red finish immediately gives the bass a classic 1960s Fender vibe. Bright and stylish while still refined, it pairs perfectly with the rosewood fingerboard for a timeless overall appearance.

The basswood body provides a responsive and comfortable tonal character while still retaining the natural midrange and attack expected from a Jazz Bass. Fingerstyle playing delivers warm and punchy tones, while slap playing remains clear and articulate.

Equipped with two vintage-style single-coil Jazz Bass pickups, the instrument offers the full range of traditional Jazz Bass tones. The bridge pickup delivers tight and focused attack, while the neck pickup provides warmer and rounder character.

The U-shaped maple neck offers a reassuring vintage-style grip without feeling overly large, making it comfortable and versatile for a wide range of players.

There is one small dent on the back side of the body, but otherwise the bass remains in exceptionally clean condition. With approximately 90% fret life remaining and excellent playability, it is more than ready for long-term use as a main instrument.
