Crafted with solid Indian rosewood back and sides paired with a Sitka spruce top, the Next Generation 812ce blends warmth, sparkle, and remarkable touch sensitivity into one inspiring instrument. Elegant appointments and flawless Taylor playability make this guitar equally impressive on stage, in the studio, or at home.

Claria™ Pickup System
Created in collaboration with performing artists and live sound engineers, the Claria™ system combines a redesigned undersaddle piezo pickup with a proprietary preamp to provide consistent, natural amplified tone in any live setting. Built for flexibility, it offers a clear, authentic voice that can be easily shaped—from warm, vintage-style character to modern, detailed clarity—using the soundhole-mounted Volume, Mid-Contour, and Tone controls.

Scalloped V-Class Bracing -
This refined evolution of the award-winning V-Class bracing design increases top flexibility and responsiveness, delivering greater warmth, enhanced power, and richer open-string resonance—while maintaining the precise intonation and clarity that define V-Class performance.

Action Control Neck -
This player-focused innovation enhances both tone and adjustability, helping produce a more resonant voice with effortless control over string height. A long-tenon neck joint improves energy transfer between neck and body for increased warmth and sustain, while the shimless Action Control system allows fast, precise action adjustments via a simple bolt accessible through the soundhole.
