The Audio-Technica AT2035 is a high-performance, large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for critical home, project, and professional studio applications. A significant step up from the entry-level AT2020, the AT2035 is engineered for smooth, natural sound and exceptionally low noise, making it a versatile staple for any recording engineer's locker.

Equipped with a switchable 80 Hz high-pass filter and a 10 dB pad, this microphone handles high sound pressure levels (SPL) with ease, allowing you to capture everything from delicate vocals to loud guitar cabinets and overheads with absolute consistency.

Features

• Large Diaphragm: Provides smooth, natural sound and superior low-noise performance.
• Cardioid Polar Pattern: Reduces pickup of sounds from the sides and rear, improving isolation of the desired sound source.
• Switchable 80 Hz High-Pass Filter: Helps eliminate low-frequency rumble and floor vibrations.
• Switchable 10 dB Pad: Increases SPL handling to 158 dB, perfect for loud sources.
• High SPL Handling: Wide dynamic range provides unmatched versatility across various instruments.
• Custom Shock Mount: Included AT8458 shock mount provides superior isolation from mechanical noise.
• Rugged Construction: Built to Audio-Technica’s stringent standards for long-term reliability.

Tone & Performance

The AT2035 is celebrated for its detailed, transparent, and slightly flattering character. It features a relatively flat frequency response with a subtle presence peak around 12 kHz, which adds a professional "shimmer" to vocals and acoustic strings without sounding harsh or brittle.

The low end is full and natural, while the fast transient response ensures that the "attack" of instruments is captured accurately. Whether used for podcasting, voiceovers, or tracking instruments, it delivers a rich, "radio-ready" sound that requires minimal EQ in the mix.

Condition

• Brand New: Factory fresh, never used.
• Pristine Cosmetic Condition: No wear, scratches, or signs of handling.
• Fully Tested: Verified for 100% functionality and peak performance.
• Includes: Original box, custom AT8458 shock mount, 5/8"-27 to 3/8"-16 threaded adapter, and soft protective pouch.
