ATC SCM25A Pro Active 3-Way Studio Monitors Pair

ATC SCM25A Pro Active 3-Way Studio Monitors — Matched Pair

One of the most respected nearfield/midfield monitors ever made. The SCM25A Pro is ATC's compact three-way flagship, built entirely by hand in England and trusted in professional studios worldwide. If you know, you know.

What you're getting: Three-way active design with ATC's legendary 3" soft-dome midrange driver — the heart of the monitor and the reason engineers obsess over these. Paired with a 7" carbon-paper cone woofer and 1" soft-dome tweeter, all tri-amplified with a 235W Class A/B amp pack (150W bass / 60W mid / 25W HF). 47Hz–22kHz frequency response means you don't need a sub. 109dB max SPL. These get loud and stay honest doing it.

The SCM25A is a landscape (horizontal) cabinet — designed for console meter bridges and OB trucks, equally at home on stands. 4th-order Linkwitz-Riley crossovers at 380Hz and 3.5kHz with all-pass phase compensation. Rear panel controls for input sensitivity and bass boost (0–3dB at 40Hz). Balanced XLR input. Foam port bung included for smaller rooms.

Why these are special: That 3" soft-dome midrange driver is the reason A-list engineers rent these on every project. The midrange detail is in a completely different class from anything at this size — you'll hear things in your mixes you've never caught before, at any volume level. Wide sweet spot, deep imaging, zero listening fatigue.

Condition: Very Good with small signs of use.

Note on version: These are the original SCM25A Pro (pre-Mk2). The Mk2 introduced ATC's in-house SH25-76S dual-suspension tweeter in 2023 — the only meaningful change between versions. The original Vifa tweeter used here is fully functional.
