The PRS SE DGT David Grissom McCarty Tobacco Sunburst carries a quiet confidence that reveals itself the moment you plug in. Built on an all-mahogany foundation, it leans into warmth and resonance while still keeping that signature PRS clarity intact. There’s a richness to the midrange here that feels alive under your hands—perfect for players who want their notes to bloom with character whether they’re digging into chords or letting single notes hang in the air.

What really sets this model apart is how effortlessly it adapts to your playing. The dual volume controls let you shape each pickup independently, while the push/pull coil tap opens up brighter, more articulate tones without losing body. Paired with the PRS patented tremolo, everything feels smooth, stable, and expressive—ready for subtle movement or more dramatic phrasing without fighting you. The DGT “S” pickups bring a slightly gritty, Texas-inspired voice that balances vintage attitude with modern clarity.

Visually, it keeps things refined and understated, letting the McCarty Tobacco Sunburst and classic moon inlays do the talking without flash. It’s the kind of guitar that feels equally at home under stage lights or in a quiet studio session, built for players who care more about feel and tone than excess. Available at Haggerty’s Music, this is a workhorse instrument with a distinct personality—one that rewards nuance and invites you to stay plugged in just a little longer.
