An exceptional piano experience

Whether you're a beginner or an experienced pianist, the FP-E50 provides a solid foundation for learning, practicing, and playing. Roland’s SuperNATURAL Piano sound engine delivers the authentic touch and interactive response of an acoustic grand piano, allowing you to explore an infinite range of tonal nuances through your dynamic playing. The 88 full-size keys complete this experience, featuring a hammer action, escapement, and Ivory Feel keybed that provide the same feel as a world-renowned acoustic instrument.

A world of additional sounds, thanks to ZEN-Core

The FP-E50 also incorporates the expandable ZEN-Core sound engine, the same advanced sound generator used in Roland’s professional synthesizers such as the JUPITER-X and FANTOM. Explore historical Roland synthesizer sounds, brass and orchestral vocals, guitars and basses, world sounds, percussion, and much more. With simple controls, freely layer piano and ZEN-Core sounds or assign different sounds to the left and right hands.

Your Interactive Backing Band

With its intelligent auto-accompaniment tools, the FP-E50 delivers a full band sound. Choose from nearly 200 built-in musical styles, recently created by professional composers. Drive your arrangements with your left hand, from easy single-note triggering for beginners to full chord detection for advanced players. Interactive mode makes the experience even more fun, allowing you to control the volume and energy of the accompaniment to match your playing. And with the Chord Sequencer, improvise and develop melodies over colorful, pre-defined chord progressions that automatically follow the accompaniment.

Find Your Voice

Sing along with the keyboard tracks using the FP-E50's microphone input and studio-quality vocal effects. Bring your sound to life with rich ambience and fine-tune it with the compressor and noise suppressor. Play with stunning real-time harmonies that magically follow the chords you play. Surprise your audience with amazing effects.
