Mapex Armory Drum Kit Fusion Shell Pack, Black Onyx Burst

Hybrid shells with punch and clarity The Armory's 6-ply shells combine birch and maple using Mapex Hybrid Technology (M.H.T). Birch adds attack and focus, while maple brings warmth and depth. This fusion delivers a controlled yet resonant sound that cuts through mixes without overwhelming them. Whether you're playing live or tracking in the studio, these shells give you a reliable, full-spectrum response.

Faster tuning and better tone
Mapex's SONIClear bearing edges let drumheads sit flatter on the shell. This improves contact, which makes tuning easier-especially at low or mid tensions. It also boosts sustain and tonal clarity. You'll spend less time fiddling with tuning and more time playing a kit that sounds just right.

Resonance-focused mounting and hardware
The included SONIClear tom suspension system and floor tom feet are designed to reduce vibration transfer. This helps each drum ring out naturally and fully. Add in the TH676 double tom holder with memory locks, and you've got a setup that stays consistent and stable-gig after gig.

Steel snare with a cutting voice
Included in this shell pack is the Armory Tomahawk Snare-a 14'' x 5.5'' steel drum that delivers sharp, bright attack with lots of projection. Whether you're laying down ghost notes or cracking rimshots, the Tomahawk responds with authority. It's a great contrast to the warm toms and makes your groove stand out.
