The Vox VFS5 is a rugged, five-button mechanical footswitch designed to provide hands-free control over Vox Valvetronix series amplifiers. It is constructed from heavy-duty steel and features an integrated 5-meter (approx. 16-foot) cable to ensure reliable performance on stage.

Key Functions

The VFS5 allows you to manage several amp parameters without needing to manually adjust the control panel:

Program/Preset Switching: Seamlessly cycle through saved sound programs and banks.

Effect Control: Toggle reverb and other onboard effects on or off.

Tap Tempo: Set the speed for modulation and delay effects using the tap function.

Operating Modes: It typically features two modes:

Channel Select Mode: Uses one button to switch banks and four buttons to select specific channels (CH1–CH4).

Manual/Preset Mode: Reassigns buttons to control tap tempo, effect toggling, and reverb.
