The following is an adapted version of description & specification:
The Gretsch G5230T Nick 13 Signature Electromatic Tiger Jet with Bigsby is a distinctive signature instrument designed for Tiger Army frontman Nick 13. Combining classic Jet punch with "dark and moody" design elements, this guitar is built for high-energy performance across psychobilly, rock, and punk genres. Nick 13’s signature model puts a unique spin on the legendary Gretsch Jet. It features a sleek Black gloss finish accented by an oxblood pickguard and truss rod cover, both bearing the iconic TigerBat logo. The guitar's chambered mahogany body and maple top deliver a resonant, wide tone with thundering lows and a sparkling high end that avoids harshness. Equipped with dual Black Top Filter'Tron pickups, the Tiger Jet provides the transparent power and bite essential for cutting through a mix. For expressive play, it includes a Bigsby B50 vibrato tailpiece, allowing for smooth, authentic rockabilly warbles and bends. The instrument's playability is enhanced by a "Thin U" mahogany neck and a 12"-radius laurel fingerboard adorned with unique pearloid TigerBat inlays. Instrument Verification: Serial Number CYG26010314Based on Gretsch's modern serial numbering system:
- CYG: Likely designates the manufacturing facility (common for modern Electromatic series produced in China/Asia).
- 26: Indicates the year of manufacture is 2026.
- 01: Indicates the month of manufacture is January.
- 0314: This is the 314th unit produced in that specific factory during the year.
