Product Description

The Taylor Gold Label 517e Acoustic-electric Guitar in Natural delivers a rich, seasoned voice inspired by vintage acoustic tones while offering the modern precision and playability Taylor is known for. Built with a solid torrefied Sitka spruce top and solid mahogany back and sides, this Grand Pacific body shape produces a warm, woody low end with a clear, articulate midrange and smooth, controlled high frequencies. The torrefied top enhances responsiveness and provides a broken-in character right out of the case, making it ideal for players seeking a mature, open sound.

Designed for versatility, the 517e excels at strumming, flatpicking, and fingerstyle alike. The V-Class bracing architecture enhances sustain, improves intonation across the fretboard, and increases overall projection. Its comfortable neck profile and smooth ebony fingerboard ensure effortless playability, whether on stage or in the studio. Equipped with Taylor’s advanced ES2 electronics system, the 517e delivers natural, dynamic amplified tone with exceptional clarity and balance.

With its understated Natural finish, elegant appointments, and powerful yet refined tonal character, the Taylor Gold Label 517e is a premium acoustic-electric guitar crafted for serious musicians who demand both vintage warmth and modern performance.
