The ever popular Magnatone Varsity, in a reverb version. The Varsity is quickly becoming a favorite for gigging guitarists all over the planet. Now there’s even more versatile option- The Varsity Reverb. Same specs and great tone. The amp produces 15 watts of push/pull Class A power via two EL84 tubes with dual 12AX7s in the preamp, creating that classic American sound. The tube complement is rounded-out with a 12DW7 and GZ34. While many smaller amps send their signal through a 10″ speaker, the Varsity Reverb uses a custom Magnatone 12″ with a ceramic magnet, and the combo results in a unique sound providing headroom, depth, and complexity.
