Up for sale is my pristine 2023 Collings I-30 LC in the gorgeous Aged Olive Drab finish, equipped with factory Bigsby vibrato for vintage-inspired expressiveness and soulful shimmer. This stock-spec gem features the classic Lollar Dogear P90 pickups, providing that perfect blend of gritty bite, articulate chime, and dynamic response that pairs beautifully with the guitar's fully hollow, lightweight design 6 LBS! Built in 2023 and kept in absolute mint condition – it looks, feels, and plays like new from the Collings shop in Austin since its recent professional setup. No play wear, dings; the nitro Aged finish is even, deep, and flawless.

Construction & Build Highlights

The I-30 LC is Collings' refined double-cutaway fully hollow electric masterpiece:

• Body: Lightweight laminated maple top, back, and sides (15" wide, 17⅝" long, 1⅝" deep) with parallel trestle bracing – no center block, delivering exceptional acoustic responsiveness, woody sustain, touch sensitivity, and great feedback resistance.
• Weight: An ultra-light 6 lbs 0.03 oz (measured on a precise scale) – one of the lightest you'll find in this category, making it incredibly comfortable for long sessions or standing gigs without fatigue.
• Neck: Honduran mahogany modern C-profile (fast yet substantial), 24⅞" short scale, ~1⅞" nut width, 12" radius rosewood fingerboard with MOP dot inlays, medium frets, and extra-long mortise-and-tenon joint for rock-solid tuning stability.
• Finish: Aged Olive Drab nitrocellulose lacquer – a premium, popular custom color with subtle vintage character that photographs stunningly. Non-grained ivoroid binding pops against the deep green, with cream/ivoroid accents for classy contrast.
• Hardware & Electronics: Factory Bigsby vibrato for lush warble, chord swells, and subtle bends with reliable tuning. Dual Lollar Dogear P90s (phenolic covers) deliver rich, versatile tone. Standard controls (2 vol, 2 tone, 3-way toggle), Gotoh tuners with Collings logo, pristine nickel hardware.

Tone & Playability – From Multiple Angles

This lightweight 2023 example excels everywhere:

• Clean/Jazz/Blues: Fully hollow body + P90s produce warm, blooming, acoustic-like cleans with natural compression and woody depth – volume roll-off for glassy rounds that sit perfectly.
• Overdriven/Rock/Indie: Signature P90 snarl with thick mids, singing highs, and edge – Bigsby adds expressive vibrato for rockabilly, surf, or atmospheric effects.
• Edge Cases: Short scale + featherweight design makes fingerstyle/hybrid picking effortless; handles gain surprisingly well with minimal feedback (trestle bracing shines); pedals pair amazingly (overdrive, fuzz, delay, reverb). Neck feels inspiring right away – low action, no buzz, spot-on intonation, perfect balance seated or standing.

Condition, Accessories & Provenance

• Condition: 9.9/10 mint/pristine. Photos (natural light, recent) show every angle – glassy finish, spotless binding/hardware/fretboard, straight neck, silent electronics. Zero fret wear.
• Case & Candy: Original Ameritage hardshell case (premium, form-fitted, top-tier protection) + full original case candy (Collings paperwork, tags, tools, cloth, serial docs, etc.).
• Boutique USA-made from the premier modern luthier – Collings quality often surpasses vintage Gibsons with lighter weight, flawless execution, and bulletproof reliability.

Rare 2023 combo: Aged Olive Drab + Bigsby + stock Lollar P90s + ultra-light weight. A collector-grade, gig-ready hollowbody that turns heads and inspires endless play – no compromises.
