Fender Custom Shop meticulously crafts replicas of the most iconic instruments using the same techniques and tools as the originals, and this 1952 Fender Telecaster is the perfect example of a handcrafted Custom Shop Telecaster.

The finish is a stunning "Lush Closet Classic," a specific refined aging finish mimicking an instrument that was well-loved, frequently polished, and carefully stored, resulting in moderate cracking, mild discoloration, and hardware oxidation, but without heavy player wear. It looks like a treasured vintage piece that's aged gracefully rather than heavily used. It's a step up from the "Closet Classic" (less wear) and below, "Relic" finishes (more worn).

This 2018 Relic guitar is in mint condition except for minor imperfections shown in pictures due to time spent in store and is featured on our shop's Wall of Fame. On the electronics side, it features two Custom Shop '51 NOCASTER pickups which, combined with the select, super-lightweight ash body, produce an overwhelming tone and resonance. A '52 Telecaster in the classic Lush Closet finish for all tastes in the "2-color Sunburst fraction." This TV is the best, featuring a lightweight ash body (3150 g) with chrome/nickel hardware. A Nocaster "U" shaped smooth-grain maple neck with a 9.5" radius guarantees comfortable gameplay for players.
